Welcome to Shannondoah Stables, home of “Bugs Malone”.

We are a small, family-owned and operated facility located in Franklin, Pennsylvania. We specialize in the breeding, showing and sales of Appaloosa horses. From the interest generated by our foals currently being shown, we decided it was time to expand our operation to include a few outside mares in our breeding program.

Our foal crop spans several years and the results speak for themselves. Quality offspring that are not only halter winners, but are good-minded, athletic, nice-moving horses. Our foals are handled from birth and hit the show circuit at a few months of age. They are all accustomed to clipping, bathing, tying, squaring up, hauling, farrier work, etc.

We are very proud to be a part of producing quality Appaloosa Horses for your pleasure and enjoyment. We will never be the largest, but produce high-quality animals that bring their owners pride and joy in owning and showing.
