Zippo Jack Bar, Zippo Pat Bars, and Pines
Freckles. On her bottom side she has Paint
Me Zippo, Zippo Pine Bar, and Leo Hosanna.
These names are on her pedigree... not off the pedigree.
She is gentle, kind and huge! She is riding well under saddle.

a gorgeous foal. She was foaled March 22, 1992. She threw
a stout chocolate palomino stud colt in 2006 by Stormin Breeze.

BLAZING
HOT ACES is a gorgeous 3 year old black overo.
Now owned by the Kent Sundling Family (Mr
Truck.com) Congrats on the purchase of this great mare!
She will be bred early in 2007 to QTsGold Mastercard.
We are guaranteed a paint foal, and are hoping for a grulla paint
filly! See foals page for more information. Her lineage
is solid black, so we are assuming she is Black Homozygous....
She is kind and willing, yet playful. She is very fancy, and
has names like Skip Hi, Three Bars, Watch
Joe Jack, and Buck Mccue. She did
great in 4H for Madison.

BRITTANY DEE BARS is
a registered AQHA mare. As you can see,
she is a red line back dun. She is a foundation bred mare. My
daughter is riding her in 4H in 2006 in the trails class. This
mare is short, only 13.1 hands, is heavily muscled, heavy boned, eager
to please, and sure throws nice foals. She is in foal to Stormin
Breeze for a late April 2007 foal. My mom has ridden her, and
loves her!

KING
EYED JOSIE MCCUE is
one of our new additions to Sonshine Acres. This
little filly is as wide as she is tall. She is a medicine hat
filly with the sabino gene. Her breeding is impeccable.
She has names like McCue, Painted Robin, King, Two Eyed Jack,
Wimpy, Skippa Rope, Three Bars, and Hancock. She has
speed mixed with cow sense, and halter to boot. It is not a combination
I would have made, but I sure like the looks of the result! She
was foaled April 26, 2004.
King Eyed Josie Mccue Jo placed 1st in halter in the
Weld County Fair in the 2 year old class! Way to go girls!

she is solid Hancock bred. Check out her pedigree! Hancocks
Lil Keyhole Her sire is 16 H, and weighs in at
1500 pounds! She has a soft and sweet personality, and she seems
eager and willing to learn. We are definitely excited to see
how she matures. The photo at the left was taken at a year old.
What a pretty little red roan, with a flaxen mane and tail!
The photo below is her now under saddle and doing GREAT!

Skips
Royal Breeze
Foaled
May 3, 2005 is out of Stormin Breeze and A Skip Of Royalty.
She is well formed, easy going, willing to learn, and fancy to boot.
My daughter took her to the Weld County Fair, and they took 1st in
Halter in the yearling class, and 6th in showmanship! Quite
a challenge to use a yearling as a partner in showmanship! Good
job girls! We are looking forward to seeing the two of them
together in a riding class. Her coat gets darker everyday!
I can't wait to see her final color in the next few years.

Skippa
Sweet Star Otoe (pending) is
a pretty nice little filly. She is a palomino overo. We
have high hopes for her in the halter ring, and later as a rider.
As you might guess, she goes back to Skipper W, Impressive,
Mr. Winters, Eternal Sun Day (327 halter
points!) and three times to the legendary Sugar Bars.
We will keep you posted on her progress.

We
have added two ponies. One is a registered Welsh Cross, named
Timeless Im No Angel, and she stands approximately 11.2 hands.
She foaled a lovely sorrel overo filly May 6, 2006 check out the foal
page for photos. We also have a fuzzy, rascally shetland, mini
cross. She is a maximum white sabino mare, that reminds me of
the colors of King Eyed Josie McCue up above.
