If you have
something in mind that you don't see mentioned here, or have questions
about some of the services, don't hesitate to contact us.
Before we start work on the site, we will estimate the cost based
on your needs. Send us an email or call letting us know what you
want. 50% payment is required, with the rest to be paid when the
site is ready to be set up.
Basic
Prices
Website
Design is $200/first page and $50 each additional page.
Basically, pages are split into different topics (such as, "home",
"horses for sale", "about us", "our
stallion", "links"). There isn't a specific limit
for the amount of information on a page, but as a rule we try
not to put more than 10-12 images on most pages ('gallery' pages
have more). This helps to keep the download time short. Most
text is kept to about 2
Domain
Name: For $25/year, we will secure your domain name
and keep it registered for you. If you already have a domain
name, or want to register it yourself, just let us know, and
we can arrange to set your site up on the domain.
Hosting:
Once your site is created, it needs to be hosted, which
means kept online so people can access it. A website is like
a telephone, and hosting is like your phone service. We can
host your site on our domain for $8/month, payable yearly ($96).
You can still have your own .com domain name with this option.
Updates
& Maintenance
We charge $25/hour for updating, billed by the half hour. If
weI build your website, then you also have the option of
maintaining it yourself. You can try a free 30-day trial
of the updating software to see how you like it. Our clients
that are frequently updating choose this option, as it will
save money.
If you won't be updating as often, then it would be better to
have me do your updates.

Design ~ The site is created uniquely for you. If you want
a certain look, colors, theme, etc., just let us know. If
not, we will work one up for you to preview.

Optimized (lightened/darkened, cropped, resized as needed,
then compressed in size to make your site load faster)

Engine Optimization/Submission - The basic design of our
sites makes them search engine friendly. If you would like
additional search engine optimization - 2 hours of work
on adding keywords, linking, submission, etc.- it can be
purchased for $50.

Graphics Created ~ No cheesy graphics here! I will make
images and designs custom so that they fit your site and
look great.

Optimized (website designed for, and tested in, different
computer monitors and settings, so everyone can view your
site)
»Spell
checking - if you need your pages to be spell-checked
for errors, let me know (no extra cost).

Other
Services:
Photos & Pedigrees
There is no charge fo the first 10 pedigrees and unlimited emailed
photos. If you send your photos to me snail mail, I will take
care of scanning & converting them for you for no charge first
8 photos, then $2 each additional photo. Any text that is snail
mail/faxed to me (pedigrees, page text, etc.) may be extra for
typing.

If we handle your domain name, we can set up your own email forward
for $15. For example, you@yourname.com -- and it will forward
to your regular email address (a yahoo, aol, etc. email). This
gives your site a professional look and makes it easy to receive
& respond to emails sent through your website!
Graphics/banners/Photo
Work: $25/hr
If you need image alterations (resizing/cropping photos, adding
frames, deleting distracting objects, changing backgrounds, etc.)
or photo touch-ups, logo created (or scanned and converted to
a graphic) or special graphics created, it's $25/hour.

Logo Creation: $25/hr
A beautiful logo can enhance your website-- and it can be used
on business cards, fliers, print advertisements, etc. I will create
a logo that fits your horse business and looks good on your site.

forms
Including "contact us" forms, polls, questionnaires, order forms,
