Ettleman Quarter Horses, owned and operated by Tim and Vicky Ettleman, is a Quarter Horse breeding and sales operation that specializes in the American Quarter Horses that are bred to be cow horses. We are located about one hour north of Denver, Colorado along the beautiful Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. Our horses are bred for the popular versatility ranch horse classes, working cow horse, reined cow horse and reining. Some of our horses have been made into super roping horses. We strive to have horses that look good, have gentle and willing dispositions, and can be ridden by the amateur and non pro competitors.

We have Peppy San Badger, Colonel Freckles, Cuttin Colonel, Haidas Little Pep, Mr San Peppy, Boston Mac, Doc Bar, Peppy San, Peponita, Cutter Bill, Hollywood Dun It, and Reminic bloodlines in our breeding program. We have lots of color-buckskins, red duns, palominos, grays and blacks. Our horses are eligible to be registered in the Foundation registries as well. We can help make arrangements for transportation and, depending upon when and where, we can sometimes deliver the horses to you. We try to be as flexible as possible to help make the deal work for both of us. If you would like to see additional pictures or a certain view of a horse we will certainly try to accomodate your request.

We compete in the AQHA Reining and Versatility Ranch Horse classes, the Ranch Horse Association of America (RHAA), and the Stock Horse of Texas (SHOT) ranch horse competitions, as well as NRHA and NRCHA events.

We are proud to be lifetime members of AQHA and the AQHA Breeders Referral Program. We are also members of the Foundation Quarter Horse Registry (FQHR), Rocky Mountain Quarter Horse Association, the Stock Horse of Texas association (SHOT), Ranch Horse Association of America (RHAA), and a Certified Equine Adjuster (Chiropractic).
