To Other Ten Sleep, WY Horse Owners ONLY, Wanting To Sell Your Horse:

On this page I would like to offer to list your horses for sale for a minimal fee ranging $5 for 6 months, $10 for one year.

Once your 6 months or 1 year is up and if the horse has not sold then I will delete it unless you pay the next month's/year's fee.

Send me your pictures via email to dlynmills@tctwest.net or give me a good photo and I can scan it in.  Give me all other info,

pedigrees, birthdates, registration numbers/associations, statistics and price info, along with the contact info that you'd like to use.

If you need help getting a good digital picture of your horse I'd be happy to do it for gas/mileage re-embursement to & from

my home to yours or if I'm coming your way I'd be glad to do it for no charge!

Soon there will be a new page for other folks to list their horses for sale,

but it will be temporarily restricted to folks that I have sold horses to.

I might open it up to a select few extra outside horse sellers.  We'll see as time goes on.

*Buyers take note:

Unless otherwise stated in the ad, I , Lynette Mills, in no way, endorse, ride or know the horses being listed below for sale.

SCOUT

1996 Grade Sorrel Gelding

Scout was sired by Spooky Rip (see my home/stallions page)

and is out of Frosty Flame, pictured on my brood mare page.

He was not ridden consistently enough as a young gelding due

to my illness.  He still has some issues that need every day

riding and hard work.

He is physically mature enough and able to handle a hard days

work.  He loads fine, trims and shoes, is easy to catch.

This horse has a good stop on him!  Drops his hind end into the ground!

He is not a run-away horse.  You'll need your spurs on by the end of the day.

He is a smooth ride.  He is what I call an old bronc!

Not in any way safe for a beginner or intermediate rider and even

some advanced riders that don't want to hit the ground once in a while should look else where!!

DO NOT call me if you are just looking for a cheap gelding to ride.

I last time I rode him was spring 2005, he bucked me off and we finished out the rest of

the days work just fine, but I'm not young enough to want to hit the ground again.

He can buck fairly well, although I would not consider him a bucking horse prospect for a rodeo string.

He's had enough training and re-tuning to classify him as a ranch horse ready for a real job with a

good, young, agile rider.  He is more of a sleeper that spooks himself occasionally, instead of a mean,

gonna put you in the dirt type of horse.

Cowboys with lots of work & miles will most likely do just fine with him.

I have packed him three times this year (spr/sum 2005) and he was packed while in training

as a young horse.  He handled my light pack load just fine.

He does not like to go faster than a trot with the light pack on.  Leads along

fine with my horse.  He was mountain raised as a foal and has been running in

our tall sagebrush covered summer horse pasture all his life.

He's an easy keeper and is current on his annual West Nile.  Wormed twice a year.

Hunting season is coming up soon!  If you'd like to try this horse out I would consider it with full payment

down before he leaves the ranch and a return guarantee (as a sound, 100%healthy horse) if you don't like him.

Price:  $1,500
